Jammu and Kashmir service selection Board JKSSB | Refund of Examination Fee for the posts Of Junior Assistant, Tailor, Stenographer, S.I And Others  which have been withdrawn in pursuance of Government Order No. 654-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 19.06.2020.

WHEREAS, J&K Services Selection Board advertised various posts relating to different departments through various advertisement notifications as shown in the annexure to this notification; and

WHEREAS, the J&K Services Selection Board received 107431 number of applications against the posts mentioned in annexure "A herewith; and

WHEREAS, the General Administration Department vide Government Order No. 654-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 19.06.2020 conveyed that the recruitment agencies shall withdraw the advertisement and refer back all such - posts to General Administration Department where only referrals have been made or only advertisement notifications have been issued and no written test has been conducted; and

WHEREAS, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, vide notification No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2020/3216-28 dated 10.09.2020, followed by Notification No. SSB/ Secy/Sel /2020/ 3454-66 dated 24.09.2020 withdrew all such posts where no written test was conducted in pursuance of the aforementioned Government Order; and

WHEREAS, the Power Development Department withdrew 30 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) vide communication No. PDD/HRM/05/2019 dated 24.01.2020 in view of the restructuring of the Power Development Department; and

WHEREAS, the J&K Services Selection Board has been continuously receiving queries from the candidates for refund of the examination fee paid by the candidates against the said posts; and

WHEREAS, the Services Selection Board vide communication No.SSB/Secy/Seſ/1545-51 dated 24.02.2021 has taken up the matter with the General Administration Department for seeking release of funds required for liquidating/ clearing claims of such candidates; and

WHEREAS, the matter was deliberated in the Board and it was observed that the genuine grievance of the candidates relating to refund of the examination fee paid by the candidates for posts which were withdrawn needs to be considered subject to availability/authorization of funds.

Now therefore, in view of the above, all such candidates who have paid the examination fee for any/multiple posts mentioned in the annexure to this notification are in the meanwhile called upon to submit their claim for refund on the link provided on the official website of the Board from 20.07.2021 upto 31.07.2021, enabling The Board to explore ways for settling the claims as and when resources are available.

Further, the candidate (s) who fail to submit his/her claim during the specified period shall forfeit his/her right to claim the same henceforth
